Although it may seem I’m hibernating through the winter, I’ve kept busy improving myself and my work behind the scenes, and I’d like to share what I’ve been up to.
I’ve recently copy edited a new handwriting and copywork book over at Foundations Press called Proverbs Copywork by Katherine Hirn. It’s a compilation of every verse from Proverbs, broken up into passages serving as lessons, and made easy to keep up with. It also contains pages for reflection and illustration to fully understand and remember the wisdom in the verses. You can get a free sample or purchase it yourself here!
Unfortunately, I haven’t been posting to my Instagram again, and that’s because I also have been working to refine and hone an art style over the past month. It’s still in the works, and as such hasn’t been ready to show you all, but my hope is to be able to draw recognizable characters and people with ease and speed. To do it right and well, I’ve gotten The Ultimate Drawing Course – Beginner to Advanced and am excited to begin going through it! I’m going to go through the first lesson tonight, and I’ll likely post about it on Instagram, so keep an eye out!
